The evening program is an unexpected, but extremely harmonious dialogue between classical opera and popular music, merging into a single, colorful musical performance. Works from different eras and genres intertwine here naturally, creating an intellectual, emotional and lively musical narrative.
The listeners are treated to theatrical, expressive and humorous opera arias - from W.A. Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" to the colorful couplets of Mephisto from Ch. Gounod's Faust. The music of G. Rossini and G. Verdi will reveal the timbral depth of the bass voice, the stage charm and the greatness of the classics.
Performers: Zenonas Žakelis (voice), Marija Žakelytė (piano).
Next to the classics, the world of modern music will naturally fit in - sensual, melodic ballads, relevant for today's people and full of recognizable emotions. Pearls of popular music from various decades will be played from the repertoire of Roberta Flack, Etta James, Lady Gaga, Tina Turner, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Elvis Presley, Evanescence. The program delicately combines pop, soul, soft rock and modern ballads, which will be reborn anew in the intimate performance of the duo.
Performers: Vitalija Navickė (voice), Marija Žakelytė (piano).
This concert is a synthesis of style, generations and emotions, where the grandeur of the classics meets the intimacy of contemporary music, and different musical worlds merge into one rich, intellectual and colorful musical experience.

It seems that one life is sometimes not enough to fulfill all dreams. Maybe that's why my path always winds between seemingly incompatible things. I'm drawn to connections - where classical meets modern music, where different worlds find a common sound.
Since childhood, my everyday life has been accompanied by music - music school, singing, dreams of the stage. Later, the path led to the conservatory, but life adjusted the plans: encouraged by my relatives, I chose the direction of professional psychology. The music never left though, it quietly waited for the right moment to return.
And came back. Today, singing for me is not only sounds, but also the language of feelings, experiences and inner stories. In this concert, I invite you to experience together how classical and modern music can sound harmoniously in one space - different, but close, like all the paths we have chosen.
